Earth and Fire was een popgroep die in Nederland werd gevormd door de broers Chris en Gerard Koerts. Populairst in de jaren '70, kwamen Earth en Vuur om vele grafiek topping hits in de Nederlandse popscene te produceren. Hoewel ze succes in Nederland hebben ervaren, is hun muziek nooit helemaal in Engeland of Noord- en Zuid-Amerika geweest. Hun grootste internationale hit was ' Weekend ', nummer één in Nederland, Zwitserland, Duitsland, Denemarken en Portugal.
