Everly Brothers - Roots
De Everly Brothers, zijn een Amerikaans (Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, VS) duo van zingende broers: Don en Phil, (Don Everly, geboren Isaac Donald Everly 1 februari 1937, Brownie, Kentucky, Phil Everly, geboren Phillip Everly, 19 januari 1939, Chicago, Illinois). Het tweetal mannelijke broers en zussen werden bestverkopende country-invloeden van rock en roll artiesten, vooral bekend om hun staalsnarige gitaarspel en close harmony singing. Hun grootste periode van hitlijstsucces kwam tussen 1957 en 1961. Het duo werd in 1986 verkozen tot de Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
