Smiths - Absolute Panic!
The Smiths was een Engelse rockband die in 1982 in Manchester werd opgericht. Gebaseerd op het songwriting-partnerschap van zanger Morrissey en gitarist Johnny Marr, omvatte de band ook bassist Andy Rourke en drummer Mike Joyce. Critici noemen ze de belangrijkste alternatieve rockband die uit de Britse onafhankelijke muziekscene van de jaren tachtig is voortgekomen.
